customizing a Hugh Tracey Alto

I pulled the tines off a vintage instrument, cleaned it up, burned on some designs (a la Tom Lanford) and reinstalled the tines. I tuned it pentatonic G, just like Maurice White of Earth Wind and Fire.

I'll likely try to flip it out on Ebay and try to get my money back. I really wanted a treble, with 17 tines.

Will it expand your horizons to have two additional tines?

What is the measurement for the longest tine on this one?

I have since gotten a 17 tines and pulled off every other to make this:
