I appreciate the high praise Rope. I do enjoy variety in song choices. Full disclosure: the ukulele group I’m a part of does this song and I really liked it, so I worked up a 3-string version which I enjoy even more. It’s “stripped down”, but the simple riff make everyone feel like a real guitar player! I’m sure you can have some fun with this one by jazzing it up, but you’ll need new props!!!

Thanks for the compliments Uncle John. The riff is fun, super easy, and sounds cool too! Everyone loves playing it because they can do the riff! The group routinely hammers me for playing too fast, the “manageable tempo” may have reflected that it was almost 10 pm and I was pretty tired!

This is cool! Love the eclectic song choices you make and this is a great stripped down version of an “almost out of memory”  song.

Ha!  Very good.  Now that is a song I would not have thought of doing.   Well sung - got that little riff just right.   One thing you do is you keep a slower, more manageable tempo and keep it steady.   So many folks (me) start off too fast and speed ups.
