From this song, "I was sitting in the bath tub counting my toes....................."    What a great and evocative line and typical of John Prine.  

Did you ever see the video where someone wants Prine to play the song about a 'Happy enchilada"?

Prine says he never wrote a song about a happy enchilada.   Then he figures out the fan meant this song you did and mis-heard  'Half an inch of water'  for 'Happy enchilada."   So,  he plays the song using enchilada.
