What a mellow resonator sound you have on this one. Really nice, avoids the all too common tinniness these builds usually have. Nice performance too!

"Thanks Nancy", I use the Slide only approach due to the fact that the Big Paws and a bit of Arthritis make it very hard to do that Frettin' and Chordin' thing, my Dad lost his hair at a young age, and wore mainly this type of Hat, but there were other styles he wore  in his later years, and unfortunately his hair loss is hereditary ;-(

"Thanks Rick", if you think Black & White takes 10 yrs off my Mug, then every Vid from now on will probably be B&W, :-D

And yes it does roar when cranked up and distorted, the Resonator is recent purchase, and am  currently waiting on a Grover Nut Extender to raise the action a bit for Slidin'  :-)

Love the hat and photo in the comments, like father and son, real fine! Vintage feel to video very appropriate, gives it the perfect feel. Also takes 10 years off that mug, a bonus bonus! I bet if you cranked up the volume, you could blow out windows with that baby! BTW, that’s a fine mug! Definitely like the resonator guitar in the background.

I'm still a bit of a novice in regard to doing Videos with effects etc., and this was my first attempt at the Black and White "Vignette", a word I was unfamiliar with until I used it, anyway I'm very happy with end result , this style of Hat holds cherished memories for me, this one is only a very cheap Chines Ebay purchase, $12.78, but my dear old long departed Father wore one of the real ones for most of his life, have many photos of him wearing it, and this is one of my favourites   :-)

Nice to see you noticed the new toy in the background, a recent Xmas gift "by me -to me" :-), but no, not one of my builds, its a cheap(ish) Chinese Ebay "Aiersi" 9½" Single Cone Brass Cutaway Parlour Resonator Guitar, 6 strings of course, which I am absolutely hopeless at playing, hoping it will prompt me to make more of an effort to use those extra 3 strings :-D

"Thanks Denbo", I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've used the V8 in a Video, but!, I can assure it's  also capable of "Growling Loudly"  :-D
