Thanks AGP. Cutting up a Martin or Gibson to “improve” it would be crazy but hackin a CBG is no big deal but can get you up and pickin it good.

Modified my No1 a few yrs back Dave, mainly tidied up the messy attempt at burning fret lines, it's a Piezo Disc build, but i did refrain from installing a Mag Pup, as it's one of the very few Piezo Gits that I've had success with  ;-D

Thanks AGP. One day soon I’ll be moding my first build. Changing it from a concert ukulele to a short scale 4 string lap steel. It is a Blue Goose also but a double wide. :D)

Good story about the Blue Goose Dave!, and some good advice about paying attention to ones first builds, as you say they can be Goodies, and can be made even more Gooder with a few mods, such as adding a Wicked Bucker etc.  :-)
