    Yes, there is a piezo rod pick up under the brass rod in the bridge.

    Very cool.   I think this may be the first time I really wanted a 3 string with that classic six string electric look.   Great, I wondered how it sounded acoustic.  Better than expected.  Looks like it sits on the lap nicely.    Ooh, that Hawaiian thing is neat.  Not something I want to do, but it shows the versatility.   That last bluesy setting and playing suits me best.
