Hey, it's Shane. I play Blind Blake's "Diddy Wa Diddy" and talk about picking... But let's use this description area to talk about the mods I made to this guitar (because I forgot to mention in the video): The CBGitty.com Hubcap Howler kit originally came with medium gauge strings to be tuned in Open G (GDGB, low to high). Sometimes, I like a light gauge on my 4-string cigar box guitars because it's easier to play and I can really get some cool chording without trying too hard. I restrung this with .032w, .022w, .017p, .012p acoustic strings and tuned it to an Open A (AEAC#). This reduced the acoustic volume a little bit, but gave the Howler a tone somewhere between dobro and banjo. It plays like a dream.
