  the cuatro is the national instrument of puerto rico . it has 10 strings ,the tuning hi to low GG , DD , AA , Ee , Bb 1st three in pairs the last two in octaves 9 frets clear to the body. its a wonderful sounding instrument ..... thanks for asking nosotros somos amigos ! miguelito de cuatro
