  There's a feeling that comes from those cotton field that can't be learnt.

  If you ask me playing a guitar was the only exit card in those days and, many of the greats trace back to those fields. I recommend reading "whats the use of walking if there is a freight train going your way" by Paul Garon

  To get the vibe ..but the Blues = Money & Hope, for so many.

  Riley Ben King was born on September 16, 1925, on a cotton plantation called Berclair, near the town of Itta Bena, Mississippi

  King used a Lab Series L5 2×12" combo amplifier and had been using this amplifier for a long time. It was made by Norlin Industries for Gibson in the 1970s and 1980s.  The L5 has an onboard compressor, parametric equalization, and four inputs. King also used a Fender Twin Reverb
