This video was made from archive footage filmed by the Ford Motor Company around 1917, for a film titled "The Making of a Ukulele".Some fascinating technique on show.Love the way the bar frets are notched, just snapped off and bashed in with a regular carpenter's hammer.

Ukes were hot back then. Getting hot again. Especially the concert and tenor sizes. I need a new model T and a uke.
