I'm really loving this cookie tin banjo I made recently so I decided to cover a tune on it. This is a 1940's Arthur Crudup blues tune that was made famous by Elvis Presley in 1954. Happy Sunday morning everyone!

Thanks AD. I agree. It ended up being a great combination. Thanks for checking it out.
I BELIEVE ITS in the Balance between the kind of strings (what thickness) the scale 25 inch (or less) the fact that your damping whit a piece of cardboard, (like you showed us), but your right ,the low and high from this little Joy comes across balanced and fine ,the fretless part is allso crucial i think . probebly the diameter from the circular Can is allso in the Mix. the analist from this build is crucial for future repetition or mass rebuilding if needed! and thank for the mention of the original writer of the tune Arthur Crudup He was ahead of his time and a vitum of Bad luck like so manny in American Musical History , carl perkins, to name a other and many other time piers from those illustrious start up times.
Nice version of a great song. I have never done a cookie tin build that I was disappointed with. Seens like the quick simple builds sound the best.
Ha ha. Thanks AGP.
"That's All Right Big Boy Poorness" :-)
Thanks Doug and James. It's a fun tune and this is a really fun instrument.
Great performance Poorness can't go wrong with an Elvis song. fine playing and vocals.
Oh yeah! Great choice for a Sunday Song. A smokin’ slidin’ arrangement of a classic tune. I love your rendition Kale! Happy Sunday.
BTW: it’s in the Slinger Songbook.
Thanks John. I really can't believe how much I like this simple build. Sometimes getting back to basics is best.
