RJ's original was recorded in San Antonio Texas back in 1936. I lived in San Antonio for 3 years while stationed at Kelly AFB while serving in the USAF. A strange coincidence that at this time I first listened to RJ's recordings.

  • Thank you Wild Rover for your comment. I was in the USAF from 1982 - 1986. This is when I started to listen to rural Blues. I would like to contribute to BWJ album, but currently I got too many projects running. I am trying, like everyone else I guess, to make some money to pay rent. Yikes. Times are tough. Enjoy.
  • Thank you C. J. Blues for the Realplayer tip. I was not aware of this. Enjoy.
  • I'm shocked Keni, thought you would have been listening to Robert Johnson for a long time, lol. That's a great sounding little reso. I always enjoy your videos. Thanks for another great redition of a blues classic. Are you doing anything for Blind Willie tribute album?
  • Hey Keni, If you download the free version of Realplayer, one of the perks is that you can download Youtube videos to your harddrive.  You might not have the "original" but you can still have a "copy" for posterity.

  • Thank you for your comment Godzilla. This CBG was built by Jim Mitchell of www.cigarcitycbgs.com

  • My dad had a 38 Plymouth Coupe, then a sedan in the same year. Looked a lot like this one. Cool vid Kenny, I thought I had ordered this CD, could you check on that, maybe payment didn't go through. Also, who made that gitbox, it's really nice.
  • Thank you Bob for your comment. Unfortunately, when my computer crashed awhile back, I lost the original footage. I try to back up everything on my portable hard drive, but this one didn't make it. The hazards of modern technology. I guess I just have to record it agian. LOL Enjoy.
  • Thank you Cris for your comment. I started fingerpicking back in 1984. I guess if you are patient, persitent, and a little obsessed too (LOL), anything is possible. Enjoy.
  • Your finger work is amazing!
  • Thank you Paul for your continued encouragement. Enjoy.
