Swamp Witch Guitar ALA Hound Dog Taylor

Hound Dog Taylor / Kawai inspired box style swamp witch guitar .Vintage 4 red pearloid pups are from a donor kawai , I wired it in a special way to enhance the front pickup and hush grounding the daisy chain to get a half piezo / microphonic and half mag pick up sound to emulate steel resos , yet have that vintage Teisco sound also .(actually discovered this sound by accident years ago attempting to fix an old Teisco )Hard to hear in this recording with the effects , but it has that metal ring and picks up wood tapping , etc..like a tru cone reso and similar to a piezo , but still held at bay when wanted . and if you crank it , that vintage loud Teisco moan and scream noisy in your face yumyums will be unleashed .I am in love with this thing , but , I made it to sell , so have at it . first $400 takes it .Vintage Carved wood top box comes with old key to open .Bridge is the piece of the carved box frame I cut out for the neck .swamp witch guitars .grab yours here ;site http://swampwitchguitars.weebly.comebay http://stores.ebay.com/Swamp-Witch-guitars
