WOW Andries this is really good another one of your best!! I Seriously doubt if anyone who did this prier to you could have mastered it as well! Vocals are Purrrrfect Meowwwwwow^..^
Very cool Andries, some really good stuff posted today. The Big Muff, Deluxe Electric Mistress and Memory man where all the rage in the 70's I like this B9 sound it's different.

Whew! That's a lot of song history and a bunch of great people who seem to have contributed to this song. When it gets all mixed together like that it's pretty hard to tell where I should send a royalty check!
Well about the lyrics What i read about it, that Walter Vinson, & Lonnie Chatmon stand credid indeed But there is a PRE M.Cheiks Story The MS are from 1930,first release on Okeh Records, secondly Charly Patton, and Last but not least Big Bill, Doc Watson, Sam Collins, Milton Brown, and Of course BOB Wills & The Texas Playboys(Great Band)But before them There is more to the Story The Melody seemsto come from a guy named Tommy Johnson he is on Victor Records, Tampa Red did apperantly somw work on the words, they say the song "You got to reap what you Sow"is the forerunner of that, and then at last we Come to 1926 Whit Al JOLSON the White Jew ,The JazzSinger, his writers where Ray Henderson, Sam Lewis, & Joe Young and they are the Guy's who the Titel and maybee part lyrics shoed bee creditted to! just in reflexion to Jims remark and Bristol Blue, And for John Bristol Blue just exsplained it

Great playing and the vocal(s) sounds Thin Lizzy-ish to me for some reason, which is wonderful.
