Used a child's bongo drum inserted in the box to try for a more banjo like tone.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. The extended comment was most welcome Silent Jim. Dulcimer tips from Jean Ritchie are certainly worth a mention. I know a lot of the old ballads from the isles had been forgotten but for a few pockets in the mountains and without folks like Jean Ritchie, Alan Lomax and a few others they may have disappeared. I wasn't aware that she re-introduced them to their place of origin. Great story!
