  • Thank you everybody who viewed and commented on this song. I love listening and watching and especially learning from such a great group of diverse musicians and friends as here on CBN. I'm out of my comfort zone for the first time in a long time and so much learning to do and appreciating the great music here. From the patio, thanks everyone!
  • Yes Sir! Thank you APG! Someone spiked my drink with Geritol! Have to hammer down a Diddley bow , especially one of Uncle's, that has an attitude. I figure at my age if I'm going to do the crazy, do it big! Thanks!
  • "Oh! Yes" that is how to "Roll and Tumble" a Diddley Bow :-D

  • Thank you Anthony! Nice to meet you! Be careful, I've heard getting in between Dave and a camera is a very dangerous thing! Haha! Very kind comments, but I hope I not judged by this one!
  • Andries, that was great advice, good point! A oven mitt perhaps! A helmet also for projectile tools! Well, this may be the first time I recorded what you see is what I recorded first! The very dangerous lead on Uncle's powerfully electrified lap, perhaps a better choice of words could have been used, with a drum track. I recorded it at the same time in my multitrack Zoom workstation. Then added bass, a four string CBG, and vocal track. Then transferred those tracks back to the original video. Not real happy with the mix, the rythem and vocals were kind of drown out. I made a cd and might send out a studio version video with pictures. I personally like the rythem track the best, but it's real hard to hear on this one. Up next I think I'll do a high wire walk while playing a three string CBG singing The Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again". Thank you Andries! We're having too much fun here!
  • Hey Richard, I am a neighbor of Dave Lynas. You sound GREAT, I love your abilithy. Thanks

  • Glove is great option to eradicate hand ,blood and other ingeries to body or human parts, that are open to poseble inflicted damage!, let me get this !you create a track, drums cbg vocals (title Rumblin and Tumlin) then you play the track and record yourself playing solo on diddley Bow & srewdriver?

Keeping it live ! you dont stop amasing  Richard!! by the way whats ZOOOM!?

  • Derek, I really had to concentrate more than I have in a long time with a dangerous weapon in my hand! One slip, or in the case, slide, and there goes an ear! Intensity yes, and more than a few choice words. Comes a time in the early afternoon the ocean breeze picks up from incoming fog, and it blew my tablet over five straight times. One of the takes could have landed me a Grammy, only 23 seconds to go.....splat! This years award for best screwdriver device goes to.............someone else! One string is very unforgiving. I allow myself 12 mistakes before redo! You see me turn my head midway to the right, my wife was laughing her ass off. I didn't eyes rolled that far back in the head! She was there in case my head exploded! Thanks again D, intensity caused ramble-mouth disease .
  • Intensity on one string Richard! ;)

  • Yep! A how to video is definitely needed Uncle!
