These are made of 2x4, plywood, cardboard, and $10-$20 worth of hardware. Anyone can make (and play!) one. Ray taught 4th grade for 20 years, and many of his kids built their own and learned to play. Here's a solution for any teacher strapped for funds to pay for instruments. And how much more will the kids get from the experience if they can make their own! Free instructional pdf at Hand Print Press dot com. Also in paperback for ten bux. by Kiko Denzer (author of Build Your Own Earth Oven) ISBN: 9780615748931

  • Kiko Denzer? The same who makes Earth Ovens? I love your book and hope to make an oven someday. Wonderful book!
  • Great play. I think you two have played a while together. Nice cozy cabin too. I like the sound holes on those rigs. Excellent!
  • i love this video. i only hope i can enjoy making and playing music with someone as long as these two! i've also downloaded and read the PDF, and it's FANTASTIC! this guy is a real sweet dude, he included every little detail, right down to a chord chart and a hand drawn diagram showing how geared tuners should be correctly installed so the gears work together... i would love to learn more about ray, he seems like a great guy!!!!!
