  • Thanks, Andries.   Thanks on the hat too.

  • the stove is burning over here as well UJ nice and cosy ! great new C  Hat!

  • Thanks, Bob.  I like that old song too.  Mississippi John Hurt and others do it proud.  There are more verses, but I kind of like featuring tin sandwich.

  • That's a really nice song Unc J!  The sound and lighting works to great effect!.. plus, added tuning specifics, excellent!

  • Thanks, Dave.  I always like that song.

Aw, Bob.  That is a good story and interesting life.  Some times, most all of us feel poor in some way, alone and far away from home.

  • I am just a poor boy -- times I don't know where home is especially now -- in the day I was kicked, thrown, and busted up by ponies & horses - showing, harness racing -- my music ability came from time in the stables between shows or races -- life and music lessons were in the stables ...this piece hit a 'home' spot for me (...bob..)

  • Oh I really like this one Unc. The lighting, b/w, great gentle pickin, and your harp is singing with vibrato, just like you do so well with your singing voice. 10

  • LOL, Pick.

Thanks Ray.  If you have a fretted GDG, just tune it ADF# and you have an open D with easy finger chords.   This one can go GDG, AEA, ADF# and kind of a tight strung BEG#.

  •  Well done Unc! Another interesting tuning I'll have to try soon. All I have used so far is Open D and G. Think I have a good enough grasp on how to play to try something new. Thanks for keeping them coming!

Love the black and white scene. Very good atmosphere to it.

  • wouldn't wanna give that questionable character a ride either  .. ;-)
