Well it goes without saying that I enjoyed your video James. I actually bought myself a mountain dulcimer this week after being inspired by your good self. It's from around the 80s I think? It doesn't have a 6 1/2 fret anyway so from what I can find on the net I think they started adding the 6 1/2 fret around mid 80s? Anyway I can't play it worth much right now, the strings are pretty far gone with corrosion so I need to buy more and I'm having to use a pencil as a noter until I get one. I'm sure with all that info you can imagine how awful it sounds haha. Anyway, thanks for being an inspiration and for sharing your videos. You're a star.
