This is my second guitar build and i am very proud of it. I made it from a vintage Lesco BP gas can.New Zealand rimu neck, purpleheart fretboard, paua shell inlay, Grover tuners, and hand carved bone nut. My talented brother made the leather strap.Electronics are Epiphone LP with twin humbuckers on twin controls including push-pull volume pots for single coil switching. Everything is grounded to the steel body so there's zero hum or buzz.Tone is amazing all the way from warm ambient accoustic, to super bright and clean lead through to high gain heavy metal with sustain for days. And yes of course, grab a slide and it is the king of blues. It also incorporates an adjustable truss rod and bridge, so action and intonation are dialed in perfectly.
