Here's a video of me playing my first stumpf fiddle. It has a small cigar box on it for the wood block sound, and the song in the background was recorded using a cigar box guitar. Already planning the next one...

Hi Mike.

You should start a Stumf Fiddle Group on CBG so we can learn to build good ones. I think the kids would love /em! I do. I think I'll try my hand at building one for my daughter for Christmas.

Mike, you are the maestro. Like yo' stuff. I wanted to laugh (from the photo), but you sounded sooo good I just smiled and tapped ma' feets. :) I have plans today to jazz up a washtub for similar percussion.
Hey, do you ever 'holiday' the back of your head. I do. Jacko-lantern head coming up for me. Makes people grin.

Thanks Randy! I saw one here on the nation yesterday and LMAO. I knew I had to build one. As you can see I need practice, but it is a hoot to play with. See Ya!
