Just recently built this guitar and am playing Lucky Man written by Greg Lake. 4 string cigar box guitar, 23 1/2" scale, tuned DGBE. The mic is picking up both the Microcube amp and some acoustic sound.

    Hi Andries, Thanks! All my other builds are 24 3/4 scale, this one and the other Ashton box I just finished decided to try a short scale just "to see", since the boxes were so short I figured these would be the boxes to go with the shorter necks. I just use light gauge acoustic strings 1 - 4 for the DGBE tuning. Thx for listening and commenting - Happy Friday!
