Just had this tune drift into my mind..with hints of Blind Willie Johnson. I originally heard this song from Dave Burland, a folk singer from my home town of Barnsley. It's not pitched right for me..so I'll see if I can go away and sort it out. This is one of the great things about the cigar box guitar..the freedom to explore and not be hidebound by conventional instruments and tunings. There's some great possibilities in this tuning and this song for playing with the harmonics to bring out the haunting aspect of this lovely old tune.
