Louise Alban performing her song Ghost at The Songsmith Sessions at The Alma, accompanied by bemuzic on Cigar Box Guitar.LYRICS:GhostThere’s a ghost in the machine. It’s an energy, you’re telling me that you’re here,CHORUSwell I see no faces,no physical traces of you.I don’t hear no footsteps, but I feel your heart beating through. There’s an energy flowing into me.It’s a funny way of showing me you’re here,CHORUSThere’s fractures in music, and files that have just disappeared, and pictures of daisies that never appeared on my screen.CHORUSIt was a great evening....there's another video here from the evening of Tom doing a unique version of Gloria.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnPSWmbiJ9Q&feature=youtu.beNo CBG's in that one but well worth a watch!!

Cheers to you and Louise! Shame about the sound, but that's part of the vibe. That said, your host's intro was basically inaudible, too, so maybe they just needed to crank the mics up a tad. It's a tough balance, trying to please folk who actually wanna give a listen, and not sonically enrage the social crowd who sees girls, guitars, and thinks, "Ah, brill! Background music while we discuss the finer points of he-said she-said and the weekend match in excruciating detail." But the gits cut nicely through the chatter, and your slide accents were spot on and well placed. Keep it up!
hope so Andy.....oh that was supposed to be songs, not sons!!
thanks Leadfoot and Steve... it sounds noisier on the vid than I remember it. Maybe because my husband/camera man/roadie was back in the pub where the talking was?

Nicely performed Be and Louise! a little noisy but part the territory with friendly informal gatherings! (-:
Nice collaboration B!
thanks Andy...we're working at recording one of Louise's sons at the moment, with me doing some CBG stuff on it, and some backing vocals : -)
