Thanks for the compliments guys. I don't know what they call the torch burning but I really like the way it makes the grain pop especially after several coats of clear lacquer. I done it many times before on other woodworking projects but this is the first time I've tried it with a guitar.

Looks terrific Dave. I think the Japanese call this wood burning technique "Shou Sugi Ban". Forgive me if I've got this wrong. Lovely LPG!
