My take on a classic old blues.Done (in my own slide style) on a newly completed and strung Mississippi LPG.GDGB tuning. Gitty Bucker Pick Up.Roland Micro Cube on Black Panel setting, 40% gain, 55% volume, 80% delay and 40% tone. This guitar will be Christmas gifted to a young player and friend.I think this plate is special. Coahoma county is the home of Robert Johnson's cross roads, the home of the blues... And we know that rock and roll Eee-volved from the blues..

  • Thanks for the kind words, Troy.  I really enjoy playing plugged in slide on GDGB 4 strings.

  • This is the most honest version of this song I’ve ever heard-it’s so bluesy and real. Love it!

  • Thanks, Kale.

  • Givin' that LPG a good ol' test drive. Nice build and a nice performance Unc.

  • Thanks, Bob.  I am glad you specified the origin of the surly growl!

  • Excellent Unc J!  Deep, mean and surly growl eminating from that Coahoma LPG.

  • Thanks, Denbo!

Thanks Digly, I dropped off the guitar and the kid was pretty happy.

Thanks, Dave and darn!   These computer troubles are not fun.  I hope you get it worked out.

  • Good un Unc. I like your version. Lucky you got it published to YouTube. I’m frustrated by my set. I tryed to publish this morning but the you tube icon vanished from my roster. Don’t know why. And there’s no talkin to those folks. I hope time will bring it back. Till then there’s nothin to see from me. :*/

  • Great sounding LPG and song, Uncle John.  It's a very generous gift and I'm sure it'll get plenty of use.  I hope that you and Linda have a super Christmas :-)

  • Thank you, Tee!~
