Thanks Rick. We’ve been having a slow spring soaker this week. Boy the birds and frogs will be going crazy on the lake. Can’t wait to go see and record more action.
Bird problems on the lake....spring and your nice guitar playing could be attracting them Dave! Solo by Golly. Carmencita sounds very nice. Nice video and photos, and a little bonus at the end. Bee happy.
We don’t mow anymore Kale. We’ve let nature do the job. Weed wack just where we need some clear lawn. Lots of wild plumb trees have sprouted up. Black eyed Susan’s have flourished. The bees are happy.
I’m sure frosts will be back Andries. We do this most years. It’s cooling off with clouds and rain chances for the rest off the week. Snow could come, ice could return. No flowers here yet but Rhubarb, onions, Bibb lettuce and Johnny Jump Ups are happy campers.
Ice is almost gone Allan. But there’s little water in there. Big black hole where the lake is, .. Was. It does this most springs. Little snow this past Winter. I think drought could be lurking. The big ice sheet melted in about 4 days of thawing. The birds love this. Such a racket of geese, gulls, crows, woodpeckers and chickadees. I saw little ducks too. Probly Mergansers.
Jolly Mose ! over here we are freezing our you know what off ,King Winter has returned, Hail snow blizzards , the stove is burning again , and all the spring flowers are out , blossem is on the trees, however this is going to end ! 5 string ye ! thats Keith Richards thing tuned in open G ! lets hope it ends soon !!
Ditto Unc's comment about "Carmencita" sounding nice, and the weather looking nice and sunny, and I'm sure the lake will look even nicer, when the ice is gone :-)

Wow. I can't believe there's still snow on the ground up in MN. I've already had to mow my lawn 5 or 6 times this season. LOL.
