NICE! Thanks for the youtube link. I haven't seen this one. Been studying Robert for the last 30yrs! I don't have the spidery (is that a word?) fingers he had...so I have to improvise ...
Standard tuning in E, the action is so low you get fret buzz when you go below, I would normamly do standard tuning at D as the stings then bend better... a Hendrix trick as other wise it kills ya fingers...fingers are dead this am :>)
That is a hoot! Definitely sharing that one. I miss guitars, especially my 12-stringers still in storage - but even on 6 that would hurt these days. Plus, my bother (RIP) used to be the singer so I could always go crazy on strings. The whole presentation, too - good stuff.
Thanks, but I'm stuggling with singing and playing it...my fingers were sore at this point, so I have given up for the night lol the Clapton strings sound ok though... I'm begining to think nylons are kinerd to your fingers... or i've been playing slide too long and my tips are soft!
