John Hardy was the younger brother of Oliver Hardy, of the comedy duo Laurel and Costello. Oliver had a "big baw face", as we say in Glasgow (i.e. a large round face). That's why I'm doing my first upload on ma big baw faced guitar.

Nice, real nice version Jamie. I like the way you bring life to American folklore. Not too many people still perform songs for the common man.
I am planning a one man folk concert soon. The concert hall is small but I rented it cheap. $5.00 and make sure the building is clean and safe. Easy enough, just chase out some Yellow Jackets, put lids on the 3 holes in the seating bench, and cover up a funny looking cresent moon shaped hole in the door. I figure I can make enough money to buy an R C cola And a Moon Pie.
Sorry ta hear you got pc sickness as well. Norton should have blocked virus attack, ah think! But there ya go.
BTW, only got three strings on mine, CBG style. Tuning open maself on this wee moonie (Lol) though am aware of correct tuning for it etc.
Btw, lotsof people spell "similar" wrongly. They say, or write, "simular" (perhaps thinking "simulation"?!). But how the fkn did we get started having an etymological discussion, jabes, ma man?! Hope yer cold better soon, btw :)
