  • Ivy is now with me Derek. We’re constant companions. Never apart. She’s kissing my tears.

  • I think you’re well practiced Rope. You’re my country Star. shine down on us. I need your humor. There are lyrics for Ivy’s lament. I can’t sing them yet. But my band mate Carl can. I’ll play harp and Grey Dog. Might take a while, but will happen.

  • It is Buggy. The Marines are trained for it. Gurgelrific.

  • We’re in this world together Allan. I’m glad you’re there with me.

  • You got to play out the grief Rick. Only love prevails. I’m back with her now.

  • Beautiful Dave!  So many memories this song inspires, and such a wonderful monument for your Ivy. Bless you both!

  • Ditto all those previous solemn, melancholy, introspective, sombre, reflective and lamentation comments, having been down a similar road, and I can feel where your coming from Dave.

  • Cool... I used to think a marine band was a band that played under water ;>)

  • It’s easy to concentrate on your pickin’ and slide work ‘cause that’s what we see ...but your simple, usually understated, harp playin’ adds so much to these tunes. The moan of the lamentation here, or the breath-y chug in your train songs, or low humming in the background at other times just to give something for the strings to lay on. It’s good.
I gotta get me some of that. I gotta get to practisin’!

  • Reflective and somber. Nicely portrayed lamentation, Dave. Positive energy and peace of mind to you guys today, Dave. I am sure Ivy is smiling on you.
