  • He’s got quite a collection of vids on the American Cigar Box Guitar Association site? He’s been around for a long time, he even played for Bo Diddley, have you ever heard him on 6 strings, he can get down!

  • Kool track ! is that one of those lace CBG builds?, he got that swamp Tony Joe White feel about him ! he even got a looper in there ,Steve Arley ill remember him ! Thanks Hooch for the upload !!

  • Steve Arvey always does such cool songs.

  • When I "found this" video, it came across the suggestions if you will of recommend videos. At the time of binge watching woodworking videos and thought it rather odd because every once in awhile I'll watch 'Foxs & Fossils' so I gave it a go and was really surprised at his style and sound. Mesmerizing would be a good word for it, crisp sound and clean licks very enjoyable. I don't like music being hammered at me.

  •  I "found" this guy a couple of years ago while researching Northern Hill Country blues.. Pre-Delta blues... Good stuff, Fred McDowell, R.L. Burnside and others including one of my favorites Junior Kimbrough. He sounds like he belongs alright... Good stuff!

     Thank you!

  • Good stuff, thanks Hooch.

  • Mesmerizing. Clean licks!

  • Yup.  Good share, Hooch.  Steve Arvey is the real deal.   Lots of skill, licks, feeling and passion for blues.   He let's it all hang out.  This is a good one.
