Danny Boy, somehow I missed this on the Nation last month but thanks to Poorness' cover which was great I had to find the original. Really great song. Wish I had your talent. Keep em coming!
Thanks Nancy,Pick Unk J ...I will try to convert to CBG ...im excited to see what happens when I do. Poorness Texan wants to cover it!...I told him YES! I want to hear it!
Oh, this one is sad and good. The voice says you do care- a lot. Excellent. Sad, good and real feeling.
On the conversion to CBG, the videos here have slowed down enough that few or none care or care much if a factory git is used now and then. Those chords could be easily played on a DGB three string, but would fall short of the six string fullness. I played along on my DGBE four string and that worked pretty well.
Nice song. A lot of feeling in it. I like it a lot.
And I've also found its sometimes hard to translate a song from 6 string to 3 string. Sometimes its hard to get those minors, 7ths, or suspended chords to sound right. I've found it to be a little easier on a 4 string CBG (but still hard LOL).
Here is my problem: converting this song to a 3 string CBG. This song is capo on the 2nd and the cords are G-D-A minor C. I welcome anyone to play and sing this song I wrote.... on a CBG. thanks Danny Boy Davidson
