  • I tend to drill guide holes in the can then cut it with some old stainless steel scissors, I cut the hole in an X or V type shape use pliers to peal it back a little squeeze the neck inside and use screws to secure it into place... I'll try and post a picture of the inside of the thing in a couple of days... I think it will explain it better
  • THAT WAS COOL MARK

I WUOLD LIKE TO KNOW HOW U MADE THAT AND HOW U CUT THE CAN.

    GREAT TUNE MAN

  • nice..

  • Fun fun fun!

(If Uncle Gus wants to get super goofy, he can use...  fret wire!)

  • kewl

    ;-)

  • I like the intact "Nutrition Facts" label on the tin...Serving Size: 1 canjo.

The quick pulloff note clusters remind me of Middle Eastern music somehow.

Maybe this is how I oughtta get back into building...something with one string and frets. I wanna make the frets out of something goofy, though. Nails or something.

  • smart

  • Pretty Canjo, Mark.   And as I expected, you make it sound good.   I am sure there are others besides you and me to make fretted one strings, but not a lot of them out there.
