  a bass drum pedal clips on and fits to the rim of an old style snare drum.... handy!

  what I need is a bass drum pedal wire brush beater... which I cant find a way of doing at the moment.

  but working thinking on a solution...

  I recon all you need is a bass drum and a snare drum and highat all working via foot pedals... this is slightly easier than my falmers to use... a highat tambourine is good too... (and a foot cabasa if you can afford one as they are stupid money)....or just get a brief case/suitcase/tamboruine like stumble col's setup..

  my bass drum has a douvety inside it to kill the volume and some chap crap highat cymbals that are quiter then decent ones....they were free with the bass drum I bought
