I appreciate your kind words Alan, BrianQ, and Kale! The Slingers have indeed covered a few Beatles tunes.
P.S. If we get accepted for the Fall Folk in Spokane we will be doing a Beatles medley. I started working on it this morning. My first draft has 19 songs (We have 40 in the songbook). I believe that most will be keepers.
The Slingers have covered several Beatles tunes. A lot of people perceive their music as complex but so many of their tunes are really simple structures that lend themselves well to a stripped-down cover.
