Sample of the sounds of the two Frog's Legs I just finished. There's a huge difference in the acoustic sound, volume wise. I don't know if it's from the key it's in, the height of the strings or what I did differently on the second one, but it definately has more sound.Both have a good sound plugged in. (especially if you can play a guiter, which I really can't)They are strictly meant for slide.

  • Thanks guys. They were meant to be fun, and to hopefully give a good sound. I'm happy with the way they came out.

    And now, if anyone's interested, they are for sale.......

  • Cool shapes! Sounds good too.

    Here's a couple of Pics. I will post a photo album of the build.

  • Grooooooooooooovy froggy.............

  • Thanks for the positive remarks Unc & Pick.

    I will try that finger drag for the noise. Didn't know that, but wish I had before now.

    I think I'll be building some more with the "D" tuning. I like the sound of it.

  • Pretty nice.   Bigger strings, bigger volume.   The D tuned sounds especially good.  Low, low string height seems to diminish volume.

    You are doing fine on the playing.  I hear a good 'feel' for the blues.   Drag one finger (over the strings) behind the slide to reduce extra noise.   Best to use ring or pinky for the slide to do that.

    Dang, you got me in a playing mood.  Well, I guess that is good

  • YEEE HAWH   ;-}
