played on a four string Dulci-Blues CBBox. 20 inch scale... doubled treble course. oak/walnut/oak laminate neck, walnut fretboard.... frets at 3,5,7,10&12.... easy to play the blues scale on...this one features a humbucker, volume contol...I like it.... Thanks to Diane in Chicago for putting me onto this instrument.

  • Michael,

it's a great fun instrument and a great short cut to learning blues soloing...

    build on,

  • A blues box or blue-cimer is on my to make list.
  • Very cool! Sounds great!
  • thanks Sam.
  • Diane,

These are amazingly easy to play, I think with just a little practice you could get around a very nice blues progression with ease.... I like regular "strumsticks" OK, but this one is strung with 6-5-4/4 from a light set of electric strings and I could get a very strong open "G" from it....

Thanks for the info that got me onto this.... I love it...

    the best,

    Sam
  • Thanks, Sam, for posting this vid. Now folks can hear how a blue-box sounds and make one for themselves!
