Just a simple arrangement of Robert Johnson's classic 'Cross Roads Blues' (also known as Crossroads) played on my 5 string cigar box guitar the 'Rain Man" that I pieced together with a Piezo Transducer taped inside and tuned it to open G.Some people claim this song is about Robert Johnson meeting the devil at the Crossroads and selling his soul in exchange for greater skills at playing the guitar....I just always liked the sound of delta blues....There are a billion cover versions of this song....so I thought I would add mine to the listEric Clapton turned this delta blues song into a rock and roll classic with his band Cream back in the late 1960s with a great arrangement built around a very different guitar riff and with some lyrics borrowed from another Robert Johnson song called "Traveling Riverside Blues"
