Not perfect, but fun to play. This arrangement is quite different than the original, but the lyrics are mostly the same. I replaced "Vietnam vets" with "disabled vets".This song is on the Mule Variations album, one of my favorites. Check out the original.

I like that song and performance. Great lyrics/story. You know how it goes when you hear the lyrics wrong? At first I thought you 'found an old dog that sings at the library.'
Excellent. Brought back some memories of poorer days. Seems like one of our sayings back then would work great in this song. Sing it, try it, "There's nothing good to eat and no effing money, no effing money, no effing money. There's nothing good to eat and there's no effing money"
Excellent job on this Eric. I look 47 but I'm only 24, they shooed me away from away from here a time before... watchin' TV thru the window of a furniture store. Gotta love lyrics like that!
My ring finger is actually the "bad" finger on my left hand. It is the one I broke a couple years ago and couldn't play guitar for several weeks except slide.

This was a fun song to learn and play my own way.
Woke up this morning and I got a semi, but my friend's got a bung-a-low ?
