An attempt at 'House of the Rising Sun'. This box is about 45 years old. Ending shows that there's still room for improvement! Still the little gitty sounds pretty nice thru a clean setting... thanks to Glenn Watt for the lesson!

Thanks all - - still needs some polish, but I couldn't resist recording something before sending it off to my brother! Andries - I dirtied up the amp a little and played it again; I think that improved it some. Snuffy - thanks so much! And you are absolutely right - - I understand it's a really old folk song. Uncle - - just a little something simple. I also really like the looks of the 'striped' fret board - - I use dark walnut stain and it is SO easy! Richard - good points! And I'd say I'm hitting 'most' of the notes! Thanks! Jim - you set a really high bar for playing and singing - - but I figured years ago that I shouldn't wait 'til I reached your level before posting videos! The world would NEVER have heard me! ;-)

Thanks AGP! It does for my ear as well.
Nice Build and good effort on 'House of the Rising Sun', I also think it sounds better when it's "Dirtied Up" a bit ;-)

Needs some spunk Gary! But overall sounding Cool, Looking Good like the tone and logo!
Sounds great. It's amazing how many renditions of this song there are.
