Wow! Most of what I am loving hear is your play, but the tunign is in there too. Very Mississippi John Hurt/Piedmont style- like. Hmm.. So, on one of my GDG gits, I could try G#EG#. Or maybe on my DGB I could try just what you used. Cool.

Nice. Root/3rd/Root tuning. Honestly, I've never thought of doing that but it makes perfect sense. I tried doing 5th/Root/3rd (yes root in the middle) on one of my gits recently but couldn't get it to tune properly with the gauges of string I had on it. I need to swap some strings and try that one. Alternate tunings are fun.
