I recently got a smartphone. Got an adaptor thing so I could attach it to my gorillapod, which I wrapped around the handle of my trolly. Thought this would be a quick, easy, fun way to film bits of me busking.Boy was I wrong about that!!!...after AGES trying to get the sound and vid synced on the 3gp files and getting them into my video editing software without it crashing, I learnt one just one thing...that NEXT TIME I'M NOT USING THAT BLOODY PHONE TO MAKE A VIDEO!!!Flawed as it is, with a few jumps and going out of synch part way through, I thought I'd put one of the vids on.A storm was brewing, noisy motorbikes went by, me saying "thanks" to someone who put money in the hat got into a loop, but coping those things is part of what busking's about I think : -)The song I'm singing is "Shouting Underwater" from my new album "Out From The Shadows" which is available here http://bemuzic.bandcamp.com/

  • interesting!

  • "Jon is showcasing brand new music talent on Radio 2 in a series of live
sessions. So far, so usual. But in His Busker's Voice, the talent will quite
literally be drawn from the streets, as Jon lines up Britain's best buskers to
    play live in the studio."

  • thanks Jim, yeah keeping it simple has a lot going for it!!

  • Thanks! Keep it in the loop -  sounds like a new part of the song! Way to hang in there through the distractions. Technical stuff is why I went back to the old fashioned way. Too much kept messing up on me and drew my mind away from the music.
