Busker Vs sound of Sainsbury’s shopping trollies!Winter Song - with 3 string Cigar Box Guitar and MacGyvered F# Irish whistleIt’s gone very chilly this week and I’m just getting over some kind of bug, but ventured out for a short busk for a couple of hrs this week. As you can see I’m dressed for warmth, not glamour!Just to my left, out of shot is Sainsburys, with shopping trollies continuously toing and froing. I nearly didn’t post this because of that, then decided it’s all part of busking, and it’s probably good to show some of the challenges?!My Zoom H2N that I used for the sound on my last video is playing up, so this is just sound from the video camera (Zoom Q2N)I’ve realised that the better sound on the last video wasn’t just from using the H2N, but also because my vocals are going through my harmony pedal (TC Helicon Voicetone Harmony - GXT) which has a tone button, that makes the vocals smoother and brighter, so I think the vocals are still pretty clear. (so are the trollies!)I’ve been eying up the Zoom Q8 as it has it’s own mikes, plus two 1/4”/XLR combo inputs. Then I saw there’s a new one - Zoom Q8N 4K, which seems similar sound wise, but the video quality is better. maybee like some of us we overthink things to much ,but that was a sweet tune Be nothing rong whit the sound at all ,and think you are busking and for me it still sounded like you was in a studio, all them people rusching by no sound at all ,if that pickup (microphone) that u used did its job it whoed not sound like it did , there must have been some editing on a computer aftewards, in any case sweet , the darkness you and i , marvelous consentration in exicution !
