Yep it was fun and no one threw rocks at us so we mustn't have been that bad. Yeah Nige the drumming was full on as always. Afotey & some of the other Africans from round the ridges turned up so the pace was frenetic to say the least (not the usual pace for us lazy mountain drummers). It's a great opportunity for me to catch up with both my CBG mates & drumming mates from South East Queensland so expect me there. Only slight hiccup is now I'm a member of the Brisbane Blues Association the workshops at the Royal Mail are also on the second Sunday of the month which means having to bolt from the workshop to get down to Twangers..
Yeah it was fun Ellwood. What I didnt get on tape was me learning and playing an Aussie Punk classic by The Saints I'm Stranded & Blister in the Sun... now that was fun.. Be, short answer really lazy. seriously the beach has no shade so if the sun came out full strength we would have cooked. Its rubbish trying to get white sand out of speakers plus this is the headland the beach is to the left below that picnic area is rocks. Accross the road and down a bit you can see a white beach shack/house with a teeny white car parked in the drive. That is Troy and Garys mates place and Trishs car - its extremely hard to get a park down by the beach especially in the middle of the day so lugging the granny trolley with the gits in speakers down a massive hill is not a good idea either...
