1950 speaker - testing with a smokey amp head installed in a modded tannoy speaker as an amp head running this 1950 extension speaker. Soon to get a valve amp fitted inside for a perfect retro looking Bug amp. USA smokey circuit breaks up like a vlave amp and runs a 4x12 from a PP3 work that one out.. plenty loud enough for recording I had to turn down guitar volue to half as too loud. A Bug retro amp hack

Nice jamming! Amp sounds great
Will the little smokey amp is a tiny buzzy plastic thing, but run it through a 4 x 12 and suddenly you have black magic !
Check the web links below, oddly it breaks up just like a valve amp..and a whole heap cheaper ;>)
What else can give you this much tonal fun from a PP3 battery ?
Just posted a video maggie using this a smokey via 1950 speaker at 50% cbg volume as it's too loud..
