This is a cover of Big Yellow Taxi by Joni Mitchell but I change the words a bit and call it 'Big White Taxi'. I dedicate this song to Dave Lynas, a central figure in the cigar box guitar community, who passed away recently. This song always reminded me of him and I felt like this was the right thing to do. He will be missed.

    Thanks Derek and yes... the old Mountain Tenor has a really nice acoustic volume. I think that's why I constantly end up using it in my videos.

    Well chosen words Poorness and a fitting Tribute, I guess He'll be up there somewhere jigging about to that, God Bless him and you are right he was an inspiration to me, to you and many many others yet never had the privilege to meet him personally.

    to bad you did not put this special tuning up there ,maybee make some folks Happy ! you realy outdid yourself on this on ,that tear in the voice showed the treu emotion , your swell guy Richness!!  and humbeling the Big Guy !! (in case your wondering ,stubby slide), play some more !
