Quick demo of the 2 stringed Bass (tuned G D) that I made using the CB Gitty G Bass kit. I personalized it by making the box look like an old cranberry crate and customized the headstock as well. The licks i’m messing with are: "Blues Walk" (by no one in particular), "Seven Nation Army” (by The White Stripes), “Feel Good Inc. (by Gorillaz), and “Boris the Spider” (by John Entwistle of The Who). All are my own bastardized version!

Thanks guys, this was a great kit to start with. Quality parts and great instructions, well thought out. Pretty intuitive to play if your used to the Gdg tuning we use on most of our CBGs. The bottom end on this is pretty good. I am playing through a 30 watt amp into a 12" speaker I made from an old cranberry crate.
I was watching videos on the 5 pound Bass company. Pretty cool instrument, but it's one string and the hand has to fly all over the place. 2 string seem more efficient and doable.
