Busking On The Bridge, St Ives, Cambs, with 3 String Cohiba Cigar Box Guitar

Had always fancied playing in one of the little alcoves on the bridge in St Ives and finally got round to doing it yesterday. Not very busy, but a beautiful spot....

Filmed this on my phone (new one that does HD vid) Had it on a gorillapod, which I fixed to the neck of a guitar that was propped against the wall. Shortly after filming this, the wind blew it over. The back came off, battery flew out : -/ Luckily it still works...

I wrote the first few lines of this song while walking into Cambridge to busk a few weeks ago. After a long rainy spell it was a beautiful day and suddenly groups of tourists were everywhere.
I finished the song over the next few days and it was good to go back to Cambridge yesterday and sing it : -)
It seems every time I decide to do a video it gets really windy!...or is it every time it gets windy, I decide to do a video??
The sound is a bit rubbish as just done on my phone and the amp was up a bit too loud for it. Thought I'd share it anyway, as I never seem to have time to do a video at home lately!

bemuzic busking - The Books We Read (New Song)

Thought I'd try out this new song. It's very new, so there are a few mistakes! Just recorded on my phone and I notice the video sort of jumps here and there which is annoying...
Oh well I enjoy singing it, and it might be awhile before I get round to recording it, so thought I'd share it : -)
The song was inspired by the titles of several books that were in front of me while noodleing around on a guitar.
I looked into it and it seems book titles aren't generally covered by copyright. The books were by Margaret Atwood, Haruki Murakami, and Milan Kundera, so if you like those authors you might recognise some of them...
