Tea Belly - just solder it up on a bit of plain perfboard as shown in the diagram. Remember, it goes after the preamp. If you're not using a preamp, it won't work.

Well, crap.   Very good video and illustration.   I love my simple piezo builds.  I don't use much overdrive and maybe that's a factor.   Good stuff, Glen.  But you make me want to try something new.

Updated video with frequency tweaked to best value. Schematic below. Use 2C=0.0022uf (code 222) and C=0.001uf (code 102). Resistors are 6.8kHz. Wire two together in series to make one R of 13.6kHz (you'll need to do this for each R), and use one alone for R/2. Or find something very close to 13.6kHz for the R resistors.
