A blast from the past, my honor, big thanks for letting the MPO boys play on your outstanding cover. Thank you my friend, and I think that magic carpet was left behind by Downtown Vinnie at CallyFest.

Thanks for the comments gang, much appreciated! You all put a big smile on my face. Rick had suggested I cover this song but I knew I needed his help to "Moody" it up. He came through big with his patio orchestra on a magic carpet ride! Love what he did with the video, his usual pro work there too :) Thanks again to Rick for this fun step back into time.

Thank you SR, pretty much the same here. I listened to country for over a year in college, then got drafted. Neil Young’s After the Gold Rush got me hooked on rock. Then Machine Head Deep Purple. You would like you received a well rounded music experience.

Richard, ELO was a big influence for me as well. Found it before I really FOUND Rock and Roll. I never had the pleasure of seeing them live. From there, I found ELP Moodys, Floyd. Before that, I grew up around country music, which was ok. but not what I was looking for as a kid. Sought out music at the library. Fell in love with Tsaikovsky, Stravinsky, Strauss, etc.. Five years later, I wasn't "supposed to", but I heard "Won't get fooled again"...wow... 1972. Things changed. (Grinning)Still love all that music and more now, nearly fifty years ago...

Thank you again for your gift. "Post" seems so inadequate...

Ray, I must admit being a big ELO fan, love the sting arrangements. Moody Blues are fantastic in their arrangements too, especially live. Thank you very much, it works if it takes you back. Frank Z is in a place of his own when performing.

Took me back to the a time in the seventies and once again in the eighties when I had the immense pleasure of watching this band do it's magic. Only two other times would I be treated to such masterful musicianship. Both were concerts with Frank Zappa. Thank you for this great video and musical treat. It really did take me back to a much less complicated time in my life. I am grateful.
